Mike Christy
A BCRPA personal trainer and a graduate from the Okanagan University College Therapist Assistant Program, Mike Christy has successfully designed various fitness programs for people of all ages and physical abilities. In his nine years of personal training, his client's goals have varied from high performance athletics to weight loss and improvement to level of health and fitness. For 2 seasons, Mike Christy has been working with the Westside Warriors Junior ‘A’ hockey club as their strength and conditioning coach developing off ice strength conditioning as well as post game recovery programs.
Several years ago, Mike was introduced to yoga. He has since become a Certified Yoga Instructor, and a continuing student of yoga. The positive physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga have inspired Mike to integrate basic yoga asana principals into his clients’ personal training programs as required.
